Snatch block pulley 8 t
A snatch block is the cheapest way to make a winch pull harder. Run the line out to an anchor, round the block and back to the vehicle, and the winch sees roughly half the load for the same pull – so a marginal recovery becomes a comfortable one. It also lets you change the direction of pull when the anchor is not straight ahead.

What it does
- Roughly doubles pulling power at the vehicle

Use and care
The reversible side plates open so the block can be dropped onto the line without threading the whole rope through. Grease the sheave regularly – a dry, seized sheave drags the line across a static surface and destroys it. Always connect the block to the anchor with a rated shackle and tree saver, never directly around a tree.
Safety
Never exceed the rated capacity. Always lay a recovery damper over the line during a pull, keep bystanders well outside the danger zone, and never step over a loaded line.
