Grizzly 13,000 lbs 12V electric winch
Grizzly’s 13,000 lbs electric winch pairs a 6.5 HP (4.5 kW) series-wound motor with a 150:1 planetary reduction. That combination gives the low-speed grunt needed to drag a bogged vehicle out under full load, not just the headline figure on a straight pull.

Rope and fairlead
Synthetic rope stores almost no energy under tension, so if the line does part it drops rather than whipping back – a decisive safety advantage over steel. It is also light enough to pull out by hand and will not develop the sharp broken strands that make old steel cable dangerous to handle. Use it only with a hawse fairlead and keep it clear of hot surfaces.
Fitting
Mounting bolt pattern is 254 mm x 114.3 mm, so it fits winch plates and bumpers cut to that pattern. Feed the winch from the battery with correctly rated cable and a suitable isolator, and make sure the mounting plate is tied into the chassis rather than the bumper skin alone.
Operating advice
- Rig a snatch block for heavy or angled pulls – it roughly halves the load on the winch and the anchor
- Winch in short bursts and let the motor cool between pulls
- Keep at least five wraps of line on the drum at all times
- Never use a recovery winch to lift or suspend a load

Roller Fairlead for Grizzly Winch – Steel Cable, 254mm Centres
Four-way steel roller fairlead for winches running steel cable. The rollers let the cable enter at a sharp angle without dragging over a fixed edge, which protects both the cable and the winch drum during off-centre pulls - the norm rather than the exception in real recoveries.
- For steel cable only - do not use with synthetic rope
- Four rollers handle side, up and down pull angles
- Steel construction

Gearbox Support for Grizzly Winch – 8500 / 9500 / 13000 lbs
Replacement gearbox end support for Grizzly electric winches. This casting locates the planetary gearbox and carries the drum bearing at that end, so any play or damage here shows up immediately as drum wobble and uneven rope winding.
- Locates the planetary gearbox and drum bearing
- Original-specification replacement part
- Cures drum wobble caused by a worn or damaged support
Grizzly Winch Wireless Remote Control – 8500 / 9500 / 13000 lbs

- Operates winch in and winch out without a trailing cable
- Lets the operator stand well clear of a loaded line
- Direct replacement for the original Grizzly handset
